eNews Nov 2011 - AND Speakers

AND 2012 keynote speakers reflect the AND principle:

Gi_TanbunaanGideon (Gi) and Mei Tanbunaan were until 2010 Directors of the Asian Pacific Christian Mission International (APCMI) in Bandung, West Java, Indonesia. APCMI was founded in 1971 by one of the American streams of our Movement. Indonesian nationals were brought into the leadership in the early years and the ministry was placed totally in the hands of Dr. and Mrs. Tanbunaan late last century. Gi is a significant Christian statesman leader, in Indonesia and beyond.

Because the focus of APCMI is on evangelism and church planting, under Gi’s leadership it later founded the Missionary Training School (MTS) in order to equip Christian women and men with mission training and skills, with a focus on cross-cultural church planting.

APCMI also provides free health clinics that serve over 11,000 patients annually at no cost to the patient. They have effective prison and radio ministries. Their village technology training program teaches skills to improve the standard of living of village-based church planters and church members.
