ACOM delivers Vocational Education, Undergraduate and Postgraduate study in Christian Ministry and Theology, and delivers it where ‘you’ are.
2012 offerings include:
Diploma in Christian Studies
An 8 unit, one year full time or up to 3 years part-time Diploma in Christian Studies. Students who have completed the Diploma may continue on to the Bachelor of Theology and will receive credit for having done one third of the BTh.
Diploma/Bachelor of Theology
A number of intensives (3 days) during Trimester 1 including Cross Cultural Ministry with Darren Cronshaw and New Testament Introduction with Cheryl Catford in Victoria, and Synoptic Gospels with Ted Keating in Tasmania, and Foundations for Youth Ministry facilitations. These and all subjects are offered by distance education over the year for those who cannot attend the intensives.
Postgraduate Studies
A number Master of Arts subjects, either through intensives (3 days) or by distance education. In addition Doctor of Ministry facilitations will be offered in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne in conjunction with Fuller Theological Seminary.
Personal Formation
A Personal Formation program exploring character, heart and personal issues that can impact a person’s ministry begins in late February with a student retreat. Postgrad students can also opt for a Personal Formation elective.
