Professional Development

Our Professional Development Process (PDP) program commenced on the 29th of July 2010 with a Pilot group of sixteen people. As advised at AGM 2010, this group tested and adjusted our program as required during its first year and then, at our All Ministers’ Summit in 2011 we introduced PDP to all of our Ministers.

Pastoral leaders in ministries recognised by Churches of Christ Vic/Tas need to engage in a formal process of evaluation and accreditation every three years. The term ‘pastoral leaders’ refers to pastoral leaders in church-based ministries, chaplains, people engaged in recognised missions, and other forms of recognised ministries.
