Updates on the Coronavirus, how it affects churches and events, latest advice and resources.
The National Redress Scheme for Institutional Child Sexual Abuse Bill 2018 was passed on 19 June 2018 and received Royal Assent on 22 June 2018. This has paved the way for the Scheme to commence as planned on 1 July 2018.
Some denominations and other organisations have opted into this Scheme, with many others indicating that they will join at a later date because of their governance and administrative processes.
The CCVT Board is currently considering if and how we opt in and will update Affiliates in coming weeks.
