As we continue to reflect on Reconciliation Week, we highlight the invaluable contributions to mission and ministry made by Sir Doug Nicholls, a true Indigenous Australian Legend.

We are pleased to confirm the affiliation of CiTiGATE Church, as approved by the CCVT Inc Annual General Meeting on May 14.

CiTiGATE Church commenced in early 2008 in the lounge room of the church planters, Michael and Janet Sim. In July that year the church was launched formally, and began to meet on Saturdays at the Gordon St, Footscray property, also home to Footscray church and Melbourne Indigenous Church Fellowship.

It is with great pleasure that we announce the election of the inaugural CCVT Inc Board. This follows the election process that was part of the 2016 Annual General Meeting on May 14.

As has been described elsewhere, the Board is a skills- and mission-based group who have the role of being the governing body guiding and informing CCVT as we live into God’s vision for us as a Renewal Movement.

The CCVT is selling a former company car.

This car is a seven speed Volkswagon Tiguan MY14. It is a white wagon made in 2014. It has a range of features including fitted SatNav, and has done 85 000 kilometres. The asking price is $19 500

Thanks for joining us at INTO Summit. All of us were able to learn new things about being INTO God, INTO Learning, and INTO Neighbourhood. As a result of the Renewal Challenge process, CCVT has indicated its commitment to be doing better at building Communities of Hope and Compassion, and Developing Leaders to lead them. As discussed elsewhere, this includes ensuring that our locations of ministry and mission are safe places for all people. We see this as a consistent expression of being the Renewal Movement God has called us to be.

St Kilda Gatehouse is looking to become more sustainable into the future by opening a boutique op-shop called Greeves St. Recycled. Greeves St. Recycled welcomes good quality donations of clothing, vintage and unique homewares, books, etc.
