INTO Summit Wrap Up

Thursday, 19 May 2016

Thanks for joining us at INTO Summit. All of us were able to learn new things about being INTO God, INTO Learning, and INTO Neighbourhood. The anecdotal feedback at the Summit has been really positive. You will see below an opportunity to give us more detailed feedback, and we encourage you to share your thoughts.

In the planning process for the Ministers’ Summit, we imagined a balance between input, conversations, space to catch up with old friends, as well as the provision of accommodation for those who chose to take it up. We appreciated the sense of partnership with Claire Madden, Paul Sparks, and Helena McNeill as well as other storytellers. The Foothills Conference Centre was also a pleasant surprise for everybody, and the staff there treated us well with generous hospitality and beautiful food.

The Churches’ Summit almost has the program mapped out for it: Leaders Brunch, Celebration Event, Fellowship Lunch, AGM. Nevertheless, we continue to seek improvement for each element. Ringwood church were excellent hosts. It was wonderful at the Brunch to acknowledge many Past Presidents of CCVT, as well as other leaders and contributors. The Celebration Event saw a new church affiliated and nine ministers ordained and commissioned. And we continue to be encouraged by the spirit of conversations at CCVT AGMs.

Planning has already begun for the 2017 Summit…
