Selfie Sunday: Be Part of the Big Picture

Thursday, 27 October 2016

From Janet Woodlock, Federal Coordinator of Churches of Christ in Australia

It is wonderful to see Selfie Sunday images appearing from around the country! They are coming in from large churches…

Hume Ridge, Queensland

And medium churches…

Northern Community Church, Victoria

And small churches…

Boondall, Queensland

If your church hasn’t been involved yet, it’s not too late! Some churches are taking their Sunday and weekday photos in November to coincide with a church anniversary or other special occasion.

An important part of Selfie Sunday is capturing a snapshot of your church in words, not only in photos. When the Selfie Sunday website is fully completed, we will be able to browse the pages of one another’s churches and learn from one another. We’ll be able to find old friends, pray for church needs, and be inspired by what God is doing through our family of churches.

The next stage of the Selfie Sunday website will be completed soon and we will start to see the church portraits appear. The opportunity to upload church photos and stories (and update existing ones) will be available for several more months.

Thanks to all the churches that have participated so far; may God encourage and bless you! Check out to see your part in the Big Picture.
