In response to church growth, one2one Church of Christ in Ballarat is looking to recruit highly capable individuals into 3 new part time administration roles. Our vision is to reach people, renew lives and release ministry in our efforts to do our all for God’s Glory. These new roles are an important component of achieving our church mission.
Church Management Team Leader – 0.6 FTE
Responsible for leading all efforts related to church business management, ensuring all management activities are aligned with the church vision and support the strategic plan. The role is one of team leadership, with responsibility to oversee day-to-day activity, but importantly building capacity, new systems, processes and resources to support church growth.
Ministry Assistant – 0.5 FTE
The Ministry Assistant role has the primary responsibility to provide administration assistance to the Senior Pastor and other senior staff as directed to help achieve that vision. The role is also responsible for leading event management activities with a team to support the key strategy components of evangelising to family and friends and delivering inspiring worship experiences. Pastoral care coordination will also occur within this role.
Office Coordinator – 0.4 FTE
The key outcome for the Office Coordinator role is to support the smooth operation of the administration functions of the church to support the church vision. The incumbent is expected to maintain an efficient and effective church administration function, coordinating day-to-day activity, but importantly building processes and resources to support church growth.
A key focus of each of the roles is to develop a team of volunteers to support the work that needs to be done, therefore leadership and organizational skills as well as excellent relationship skill are very important in each role.
