This is an exciting opportunity to join an outstanding pastoral leadership team at a leading regional church that has a passion for contemporary worship and plans for a renovated worship auditorium.
One2One Church is a contemporary and growing regional church with combined attendance of around 480 over 3 Sunday services. Our two morning services are identical in style with a focus on families. Our evening service has a more contemporary style again with a focus on youth and young adults and their families and friends. Our worship team consists of more than 50 participants with a range of backgrounds and skills. We are genuinely multigenerational and increasingly multicultural with a strong overseas partnership in Indonesia. We have a leadership development and team ministry culture and a commitment to new models of evangelism. Our church is 160 years old and every generation can tell some amazing stories of God’s faithfulness. While we are currently in an exciting chapter, we are also convinced that our best is yet to come.
Ballarat is a city of around 100,000 people about 75 minutes west of Melbourne and 60 minutes from Geelong, with easy access to the Surf Coast and the Grampians. Our city is highly regarded for its quality of life including its historical importance, sporting opportunities and arts culture. Our church is on the growing side of Ballarat, surrounded by new suburbs and young families.
We are looking for someone who can take our worship ministry to the next level. They will have a strong personal faith, great character and a warm pastoral personality that naturally gathers people. They will have obvious leadership gifts, a commitment to team ministry and a passion to develop leaders. They will have experience, skills and training in worship ministry. They will support our vision and values.
The successful candidate will be responsible for our Sunday worship ministry and other worship or performing arts events. They will lead the worship ministry leadership team. They may also be responsible for another secondary ministry area – to be negotiated.
Work hours are negotiable. Remuneration is according to Churches of Christ guidelines. Candidates must be eligible for Accreditation with Churches of Christ and must comply with Code of Ethics and child protection requirements.
For more information please contact our Senior Pastor, Mark Dainton by email at email@example.com. A ministry description will be sent on request. Applications must include a covering letter and a resume with 3 referees.
Applications close at 1pm on Wednesday 27th November.
