Warragul is located in the heart of the Baw Baw Shire in Gippsland and is a major growth corridor within easy access to the city by road and rail. The Church of Christ is a well-established and committed to actively express and to live out God’s love in our community.
The church has its own facilities and currently has 109 members, an average Sunday attendance of 143, and has a rich history of nearly 150 years. The church is energetic and has active service of members within the local community. We are widely known as a “very welcoming church” committed to the Word of God and the extension of His Kingdom.
We are seeking expressions of interest for a full-time Generations/Family Pastor who will assist the Team Leader in leading God’s people into active ministry as we develop the ministries of the church with focus on our vision and mission.
Potential candidates will be able to successfully obtain a Working with Vulnerable People Card (Tasmania) or a Working with Children Check (Victoria) and a National Police Check before starting in the role; be either a citizen or permanent resident of Australia; and be an endorsed and accredited Minister with Churches of Christ in Australia, or in a course of study heading in that direction, or willing to pursue this within the first 12 to 18 months.
Salary and conditions of each of these position will be in accordance with the Churches of Christ in Victoria and Tasmania recommendations for ministers, depending on experience and qualifications.
