Summit 2021

The 2021 Summit will be held at Discovery Church in Mount Evelyn, Victoria, on Wednesday May 12 and Thursday May 13. In 2021, we believe that God is calling us to be an ‘Empowered’ movement. We seek to advance God’s Kingdom mission with intentional strategies and initiatives that stimulate the development of new disciples and leaders. This also needs the empowerment of the Spirit to add God’s strength to our effort.

To be an “empowered” people requires us to look beyond what we do and have and to seek extra assistance. While it ultimately comes as we yield to God, we know that He also works through others. To open our hearts and minds to receive from people brings us in humility to moments of vulnerability from which we can grow, whether we are new or seasoned leaders. Rebuilding after COVID still needs us to commit to best practice and to embrace it with purpose. When we keep doing what we’ve done, we keep having what we’ve had. Change begins with the quest to be empowered differently, the honesty to confront what has not worked, and the openness to explore new paradigms with fresh resolve. Our “Empowered” Summit calls us to surrender to a God who still desires His Church and its people to be at the forefront of Kingdom impact. May we all continue to play a key part in optimally advancing that cause.

The keynote speakers will be Dale Stephenson from Crossway Baptist Church and Melinda Dwight from Alpha Australia. There will be a range of workshops and other speakers. Summit will also offer some great opportunities for networking, prayer, and input.

Summit electives will cover Building a Discipling Culture, Micro Churches, Church Planting, Property and Finance, Biblical Justice, Becoming ‘City Changers’, and more.

We would love to see your whole team register as we explore the empowerment of leaders guided by the Spirit to shape effective post-COVID churches. We have a special program for Generations leaders on the Wednesday including worship, prayer, equipping, networking and dinner. This promises to be our best event yet!
