Summit 2022

The 2022 "Transform Your World" Summit was held at Discovery Church in Mount Evelyn, Victoria, on Wednesday May 18 and Thursday May 19

2022 marks a year of rebuilding across our churches, while we also maintain a continuing commitment to an urgent mission.

Never before has there been such a need for the people of God to catalyse hope with conviction and purpose. With an identity grounded in Christ, we are God’s new creation people who stand as a living testimony to the fact that, with Him, we will always be better.

Therefore, a call to ‘Transform Your World’ need not be daunting, but is actually fundamentally inspiring. Each one of God’s children is empowered by the Spirit from the inside out so that our personal change stimulates collective local impact. A surge of discipleship momentum can result in rapid engagement of the wider world, too, in the cause and growth of Jesus’ Kingdom. People are hungry for significance, and we can truly create meaning as God’s ‘difference makers.’

The restrictions of COVID have compelled us to prioritise a discipleship of encounter, rather than predictable or lifeless programming. It has been confronting for all of us to face the need to make more room in our services, our lives, and our wider communities, for the God who sustains life and fuels vision. This year’s Summit will reinvigorate us within a collaborative atmosphere of prayer, networking, and inspiration, propelling us with newfound creative energy into the cause of Jesus to transform lives.

The keynote speakers will be Melinda Tankard Reist from Collective Shout and Jossy Chacko from Empart International (also a past Global Leadership Summit speaker). There will be a range of workshops and other presenters, with elective topics including: Integrating Discipleship into Church Life, Leadership Transition, Preaching, Fundraising for Growth, Raising and Releasing Volunteers, Empowering Women, Conflict Management, and more.

We would love to see your whole team register as we explore the empowerment of leaders guided by the Spirit to shape effective post-COVID churches. We have a special program for Generations leaders including worship, prayer, equipping, networking and dinner. This promises to be our best event yet!
