All Ministers and leaders are encouraged to be Lifelong Learners. This includes participating in relevant, engaging, and equipping professional development processes which includes initial preparation and formation for ministry followed by continuous development through training, ongoing formation, and Supervision. Lifelong learners demonstrate a posture of humility and a curiosity and passion for continuous development.
CCVT seeks to develop Leaders to lead Communities of Hope and Compassion. There are many avenues for training available to ministers and members of Churches of Christ.
Stirling Theological College (a college of University of Divinity) forms people for leadership and ministry in a wide variety of settings. Study options include full-time or part-time study, in person or online courses, and occasional short courses.
Propel is a 12-month leadership development program planted in the local church with the intention of helping emerging leaders develop healthy practices and articulate God’s call on their life.
Based on the successful model of Youth Vision's leadership development program The FEW, Propel opens up the personal, professional, and spiritual formation practices of The FEW to emerging leaders of all ages and backgrounds, and broadens the possibilities for areas of study.
