Leaders are encouraged to be prepared and formed for leadership in Communities and beyond; People in Ministry and other leaders, paid and voluntary, in churches, agencies, communities and workplaces.
Leadership formation and development occurs through participation in relevant, engaging and equipping professional development processes which includes Lifelong learning, Supervision, regular Review feedback, and Wellbeing and support practices.
Elders provide leadership through valuable support to the community’s Minister/s and through partnership with the Minister/s in all that God is calling the community to be and do, including equipping people for mission and ministry, prayer and discernment, spiritual leadership, vision setting, governance, financial accountability and compliance.
Church and agency administrators provide practical support and guidance in partnership with Ministers and other leaders in their organisations. This includes the day-to-day practicalities of a secretary, and the governance and resourcing support of a treasurer, and many others.
